Personal History

I never really was told how my ancestors got to America but I do know what nationality my grandparents are so I probably know where they were born and where they came from. On my mothers side of the family my grandfather is Canadian so my great great grandfather probably got to America from Canada, my grandmother is Irish so I m assuming my great great grandmother came to America from Ireland.
On my fathers side of the family its all Italian my grandmother is Sicilian so my great great grandmother I guess came to America from Sicily, Apparently I do not know what part of Italy my grandfather came from (I'll try to find out). As far as I know all my grandparents are Christian (I'll try to find out). I would'nt know if my grandmother or grandfather speak Italian (my fathers side of the family) but I do know that my grandparents speak a little French (my mothers side of the family).
My parents were born in the U.S. and so was my brother, my sister, and me and thats why we all speak English but my dad speaks a little Italian. Even if I am not German I am learning German(Danke, Vielen Dank)(thank you,thank you very much), my brother knows some Spanish because he is learning it from school, my sister apparently does not speak any languages.
I do not know why my great grandparents came to America but I'll see what I can do to find out the next time I edit this blog but I m assuming that they came because they wanted to be free.I also dont know when they came but like I said I'll try to find out.
I am Christian because my grandfather is Christian (on my mother's side of the family)and he is Canadian(I guess) and my grandmother and grandfather are Christian (on my fathers side of the family)because they are Italian ( I guess).
O k so now I am editing my blog again and I promised you more information but I didnt get it because I didnt get time to talk to my grandparents on both sides of my family or my parents, and the worst part is that my grandparents are coming over my house today after school so you think I would get the information from them today and then on Monday well I cant I am going on vacation all next week (I m leaving on Sunday so how screwed am I) o well.
